AFL: West Coast’s poor run of form in Melbourne has continued as they capitulated in the face of an Essendon onslaught.

The last item on that list is now dangerously close to being entrenched as one of life’s few certainties after Essendon destroyed the Eagles at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Bombers hammered the West Australian club 19.11 (125) to 8.16 (64) as Adam Simpson’s men delivered yet another insipid performance in the Victorian capital.
The Eagles have now lost three of four games in Melbourne this season and veteran footy journalist Mike Sheahan slammed them for a horrendous showing.
