Sterling Payment Technologies and ExaDigm Announce Wireless EMV Solution

Sterling Payment Technologies, a leading provider of secure payment processing, today announced it has partnered with ExaDigm, Inc., a leading innovator in point of sale (POS) terminal solutions, to offer an EMV solution for the ExaDigm NX2200e wireless terminal. The EMV solution, which features tip adjust, offers restaurant and retail merchants the capability to accept payments from wherever they engage with customers.

EMV became a necessity in both the restaurant and retail industries when liability for fraudulent transactions shifted from card issuers to merchants in 2015. This shift meant that merchants not using EMV-enabled POS equipment would be held accountable for certain fraudulent transactions processed by its system. Using the proper EMV technology protects businesses and customers from fraud.
