The SAFEY App

Through SAFEY’s constant monitoring of security issues, JFRC students are consistently current with events wherever they are.

Each John Felice Rome Center (JFRC) student now receives a license for the SAFEY mobile app as part of their program overseas. Through the app, students are able to notify local emergency services if they need assistance, monitor potential security threats in their current area and worldwide and quickly connect with JFRC staff in the event of an emergency.

A JFRC representative stated, “we believe so strongly in the importance of students’ security, that we have mandated participation among our student body.” With this level of dedication and the ease of onboarding users to the SAFEY system, JFRC anticipates a 100% adoption rate.

The representative went on to say, “among the features Loyola’s JFRC program enjoys most about SAFEY is that it is updated in real-time. Through SAFEY’s constant monitoring of security issues, JFRC students are consistently current with events wherever they are. Moreover, the ability to target students with communication based on their location is a helpful feature.”
