MIDDLEBORO — Join the Oak Point Classic Car Club on Sunday, August 13 from 10am to 2pm for the 2017 Oak Point Classic Car Show. Over 100 Classic Cars are expected to showcase for your vote.
At this year’s show, the Oak Point Classic Car Club will be fundraising for the Vincent De Paul Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Admission to the show is free but canned food and/or monetary donations are encouraged. There will also be dozens of raffle items including a 50/50 raffle. A portion of all raffle proceeds will be donated to the Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Children’s activities will include face painting and caricatures.
As always, the food is free and this year’s menu will include corn dogs, fried dough, popcorn, and lemonade! The band Cruisin’ will be performing out by the cars once again this year and Jimbo Wilson and the Creekside Band will take the stage in the Ballroom. Paul Mennett from the TV show Cruising New England and his circle of Champions will be our special guests. Paul will be appraising and looking to purchasing automotive memorabilia. The TV cameras will be rolling so wear your happy face. This event is a great time for the whole family, come down and enjoy.
The event will be held rain or shine.
