If you thought P!nk would bend to the trends in her comeback jam, think again: “What About Us” — the first single from Beautiful Trauma, her first solo studio album in five years — has the heart and explosive chorus we expect from the artist. Yet it couldn’t be more timely: Co-written with Ed Sheeran hitmakers Steve Mac and Johnny McDaid, the song goes after an unidentified “man” whose broken promises have her declaring “enough is enough.” Her political tweets might offer some clues about who that man is.
