A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 for Heritage Woods of Noblesville, a new assisted living and memory care community for Indiana seniors who need some help to maintain their independence.
The community, which will be located on more than three acres of land at 9600 E. 146th Street in Noblesville, is expected to open at the end of next year.
The four-story, 105,000 square-foot building will house 124 private studio and one-bedroom apartments.
Each of the assisted living apartments at Heritage Woods of Noblesville will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning units, and an emergency alert system.
In addition, Heritage Woods will have a large community room, a private dining room, sun rooms, walking paths in beautifully landscaped courtyards, a library, computer lounge, onsite general store and other amenities.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Part of the community will be dedicated to memory care, catering to older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. This specialized program will provide opportunities for residents to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the seasons of dementia.
