Ramadan Abedi told reporters in Tripoli, Libya, his son sounded ‘normal’ when he spoke to him five days ago
THE dad of the Manchester suicide bomber has today insisted his son is innocent – as new pictures have emerged showing the concert terrorist as a teenager.
Salman Abedi, 22, was named by cops as the man they believe was behind the massacre of 22 innocent people at Manchester Arena on Monday night.
Born in Britain to Libyan parents, he was reportedly known to MI5 and is said to have “proven” links to ISIS.
But his dad Ramadan Abedi denied his son is linked to militants or the suicide bombing at a concert by pop-star Ariana Grande.
Speaking to reporters in Tripoli, Libya, Mr Adebi said: “We don’t believe in killing innocents. This is not us.”
