Kapper Physical Therapy joins Northern Rehab

Physical therapist Kimberly Kapper is the branch manager of Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists’ Sandwich location.

Kapper Physical Therapy in Sandwich is now part of Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists.

The addition of this branch office allows Northern Rehab to extend its service area to southern DeKalb County and the greater Sandwich community.

Northern Rehab has been providing physical therapy to the DeKalb area since 1978 and now includes 11 physical therapists working in five locations in northern Illinois, including Sandwich. Northern Rehab is privately owned and operated by physical therapists who live and work in the communities they serve.

“We are excited at this opportunity to expand our practice to the southern portion of DeKalb County and look forward to caring for patients in Sandwich and the surrounding communities,” Ken Olson, physical therapist and president of Northern Rehab, said in a news release.

Northern Rehab strives to treat patients in a professional, yet fun and friendly atmosphere, providing quality, skilled hands-on physical therapy with an emphasis on one-on-one physical therapy care provided by the therapist.

Physical therapist Kimberly Kapper will remain on staff as the branch manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a certified hand specialist and more than 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. She has a strong clinical background that includes rehabilitating patients following fractures, carpal tunnel and post-surgery, with emphasis on disorders of the wrist, elbow, shoulder and neck.
