Hanna Boys Center is thrilled to announce that Bertram Lubin, M.D., Associate Dean of Children’s Health UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, will be the keynote speaker at its next Professional Networking Breakfast on June 8, 2017. Dr. Lubin will speak about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), health and youth. Joining Dr. Lubin will be Dayna Long, M.D., of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Barbie Robinson, M.P.P., J.D., Director of Health Services, Sonoma County. The breakfast will provide an opportunity for public education, healthcare and human services professionals—as well as others engaged in youth wellness, advocacy and education—to come together and network.
“We are elated to have someone of Dr. Lubin’s stature share with our community some of the scientific and pediatric research coming out of USCF and other pediatric health centers, which we hope will spawn new conversations and action here at Hanna Boys Center and beyond,” says Mary Kelly Persyn, director of the Hanna Institute. “In our community as we collectively work to heal trauma and build resilience, Hanna Institute is committed to bringing to the forefront leaders like the team on this breakfast series, which will focus on various aspects of health, youth and ACEs.”
