The appointment of Gareth Burns as Technologies Specialist for Anderson & Vreeland, leading manufacturer and distributor of flexographic plate processing equipment and materials, is announced by Jessica Harrell, Technologies Manager for Anderson & Vreeland Inc.
In his new position, Gareth Burns will provide technical support for Anderson & Vreeland customers throughout the United States, with a primary focus on photopolymer and the Flint Group nyloflex® Xpress thermal platemaking system in the East region.
“Gareth’s proficiency with digital imagers, plate processing equipment and software will strengthen the technical expertise of the Anderson & Vreeland Technologies Team,” said Jessica Harrell. “Combined with his knowledge of press operation and production efficiencies, his appointment will greatly benefit our customers,” she added.
Gareth Burns has 23 years of print industry experience, most recently a Senior Technical Advisor at Flint Group. He also has 14 years of college teaching experience in printing technologies, working as the Graphics Program Chair and Instructor at Central Piedmont Community College.
Gareth lives in South Carolina, just outside of Charlotte, NC. He received his Masters in Graphic Communications from Clemson University and is an FTA FIRST Level III Certified Implementation Specialist, Prepress Operator and Press Operator.
