A fanfare of pointless excitement erupted this week when ‘newfound’ footage of Michelle Kegan on the Jeremy Kyle show emerged.
A new clip showed the 30-year-old actress in character as Tina McIntyre during a special Coronation Street themed episode of the divisive ITV talk show that originally aired in 2010.
The episode – a special to mark the 1000th episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show – saw aggressive host Jezza grill ‘Tina’ over cheating allegations in an episode that also brought in Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price as their Corrie characters David Platt and Nick Tisley.
But in real life, many z-list celebrities have appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show to discuss their personal troubles – here is a run down of the stars that have feature on the show…
EastEnders bad boy Leslie – who played “Dirty” Den Watts on the BBC soap – featured on The Jeremy Kyle show in 2006 following a scandal that saw him engaging in a sexual act via webcam to a female reporter while still married to his then-wife Jane.
Appearing on the ITV show, Leslie gushed about his wife (who he later divorced) saying: “I have a brilliant wife, who sadly I’ve taken advantage of, I suppose, over the years.”
He continued: “She says we got married for better or worse. I think she’s got the worse. I’ve got the better.”
Troubled footballer Stan was a guest on the show in 2009.
Viewers were left feeling distressed when they saw him discuss his past relationship with Ulrika Johnson – whom he dated in the 1990s with the relationship ending after he allegedly punched her.
The footballer – who played for England between 1995 and 1997 – also discussed his past involving dogging which cost him his job at the BBC in 2004.
