Hundreds of people in bright pink T-shirts swarmed the square to celebrate Samantha “Sammi” Henehan’s 25th birthday — a huge party for a guest of honor who couldn’t be there.


Since her death from a drug overdose in April 2016, her parents and myriad supporters have been trumpeting a message to eradicate opioid addiction in Northeast Pennsylvania.
