DeAndre Hopkins, D.J. Reader pop up on injury report

Could D.J. Reader and DeAndre Hopkins miss the Houston Texans’ week four match-up with the Tennessee Titans?

With the Houston Texans returning to practice on Wednesday, following this past Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, their week four injury report is now out.

The bad news is that defensive tackle D.J. Reader and cornerback Marcus Burley didn’t practice due to knee injuries.

Also Texans’ star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was limited due to a knee injury.

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported the news on Twitter.

Reader has been great for the Texans so far this season, after replacing the retired Vince Wilfork. Hopefully he just needed an extra day of rest and his knee injury isn’t serious.

When it comes to Hopkins, he at least did some work during practice. He’s been rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson’s favorite target. The Texans will need Hopkins to stay healthy.

The good news is that Houston offensive lineman Jeff Allen returned to practice. But Xavier Su’a-Filo and Greg Mancz were limited.

Even better news is that wide receiver Will Fuller fully practiced. It looks like he has a really good chance at making his 2017 debut this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

With Fuller just about ready to come back, the Texans are all of sudden full of talent at the receiver…
