CTNext Awards Growth Grant to Addaero Manufacturing

Growth Company Grant Awards are designed to support Connecticut early-stage companies that are demonstrating promise and have already reached certain financial milestones.

CTNext, Connecticut’s go-to resource for entrepreneurial support, today announced that it has awarded a Growth Company Grant to Addaero Manufacturing, an additive manufacturing company for the aerospace, marine and defense industries that is headquartered in New Britain. Addaero will receive $25,000 from CTNext to enhance the company’s marketing efforts, expand its brand identity and begin targeting new industries that may not have historically used additive manufacturing.

“Growth Company Grant Awards are designed to support Connecticut early-stage companies that are demonstrating promise and have already reached certain financial milestones,” said Glendowlyn Thames, Executive Director of CTNext. “Addaero has demonstrated high growth potential and has met the criteria to receive Growth Grant funds that can be used toward projects that will help further accelerate growth.”

Addaero is a metal additive manufacturing company that uses technology for high-precision applications. Founded in 2013 by experienced aerospace and additive technology professionals, the company works with large and small original equipment manufacturers, helping them produce quality parts for production applications using additive manufacturing.
