Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hodnett Cooper Real Estate Opens New Location on St. Simons Island

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hodnett Cooper Real Estate, an independently owned Golden Isles brokerage, has launched its second location on St. Simons Island and fourth office in the Golden Isles.

The Hodnett Cooper family of companies was founded in 1983 by Roy Hodnett. Since their real estate division affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices earlier this year, the company has earned a host of honors and welcomed several new professionals to the highly successful real estate team. They have now recently opened a new office at 125 Longview Plaza on St. Simons Island.

The real estate brokerage serves clients throughout the Golden Isles, from Camden County to McIntosh, and everything in between. Its new office on St. Simons, “helps to better serve St. Simons and Sea Island clients with a convenient mid-island location,” says Missy Neu, Vice President of Business Development.

Pat Cooper, President and Broker of the company, oversees operations for all the company’s locations. “The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand has been an integral part of our company’s expansion and success this year. This is an exciting time for our company, our clients, and our agents,” says Pat Cooper.

The company celebrated the opening of the Longview office on Monday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location, located at 125 Longview Plaza, next to St. Simons Drug Company. The gathering also afforded the company the ability to promote the upcoming Merry Mixer, an event that benefits The Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia. Pat Cooper presented Brian Dolan of the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Georgia with a check for $1,500 to aid in sponsorship of the Merry Mixer and promote awareness of the event.
