Banana Festival: The 6th Annual Port of Hueneme Banana Festival offers a variety of foods including barbecue, gourmet grilled cheese, banana splits, banana beignets and more, live music, beer and margaritas, free tours of the port, arts and crafts vendors and activities for kids. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 30 at the corner of Surfside Drive and Market Street in Port Hueneme. 535-4060; bananaportfest.com.

Seabees Museum Tours: Curator Kim Cromwell will lead two behind-the-scenes tours of the museum, including collections, artifacts and archival materials not normally seen by the public. Fall Harvest Festival: Underwood Family Farms will kick off its 20th annual festival with Friends of the Farm Weekend, with demonstrations including police cars and motorcycles, fire trucks, ambulances, bomb robots, Search and Rescue and more.
