Avery Dennison, a global manufacturer and distributor, is expanding in Painesville Township.
Avery Dennison recently opened a graphics materials production facility at 670 Hardy Road.
The investment in this manufacturing facility provides Avery Dennison with additional capacity to bring branded, premium cast vinyl products to a wider audience.
“People see Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions materials every day, but they might not know it,” said Bill Podojil, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions senior business director. “Our vinyl film could be used to wrap your car, advertise your favorite store or add a pop of color to a streetscape via architectural wraps. These materials are created right here in Northeast Ohio and provide a canvas for the promotion of a broad range of personal and business segments. We’re proud that this expansion and the addition of a new casting line will allow us to continue to grow our graphics business.”
The expansion will result in 19 new jobs in the township.
Painesville Township Trustee Josh Pennock expressed excitement about the expansion at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 23.
“Avery has been a long-standing member of the Painesville Township business community,” Pennock said. “We are pleased to see them expand their operations in our township, adding numerous job opportunities for our residents and residents of Northeast Ohio.”
Avery Dennison Director of Operations Jeremy Letterman said the Painesville Township plant was started in 2009 and has grown tremendously.
“We are a global company and look strategically at where we invest and grow,” Podojil added. “We chose Northeast Ohio for this investment because of its strong workforce, expertise and access to customers and the broader supply chain,”
