Climbing is one of the most interesting things which most of us would have done in our life time. For instance we would have at least at some point of time climbed a tree to pluck a fruit or climbed the roof using a ladder and so on. Some of us would have even gone on a trek to a mountain, while a few would have had the habit of climbing ropes and likewise we would have plenty of these stuffs. Most of the time this could have been an adventure and we would have enjoyed most of these.
While we have done all these, most of us are scared when it comes to height. However, we love to watch movies related to climbing. One such movie which I can never forget in my life time is Cliffhanger which I watched recently featuring on my television powered by Time Warner Cable. The movie show extreme stunts about climbing and actions which make people tremble fearing the heights. Likewise there are many such movies that portray climbing like Tom Cruise in MI2. All these are unforgettable.
Apart from all these movies, there are entertainment programs as well which people who climb on top of the a building trying to balance on a rope that is tied from one building to the other, most reality show portray various kinds of climbing and the people who participate, we find them doing it with all excitement. These are interesting to watch however not worthy enough to execute. For a person to climb heights it involves a lot of courage and passion. There are a lot of people who relate climbing to strength. However, when we talk about climbing, we should understand that climbing is all about balancing and know how to reposition your body in a given space. It is about creativity, learning to adapt to what the rock has to offer. It could be a whole-body exercise and though your upper body gets a fair share of grunt work, your legs and feet are your most important instrument for upward motion. It requires concentration and one has to overcome fears to do so.
