You don’t have to know how to code, or have millions of dollars in venture capital, or be a marketing genius to launch a successful tech company. You’ve just got to be scrappy.

AppSheet today announced a partnership with Apps Without Code LIVE, an online conference about scrappy ways to launch startups on a budget, Feb. 5-9, 2018. The event is aimed at non-technical entrepreneurs who want to build apps and grow sustainable online businesses without taking on outside investment. More than 2,000 aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event, which will feature keynotes, workshops and panel discussions by industry experts in growth marketing, app development, and bootstrapping. Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist, will headline the four-day conference with a talk on bootstrapping.

“Apps Without Code LIVE is for anyone who has ever had an idea for an app or startup, but wasn’t exactly sure how to get started,” says Tara Reed, CEO of Apps Without Code. “You don’t have to know how to code, or have millions of dollars in venture capital, or be a marketing genius to launch a successful tech company. You’ve just got to be scrappy.” Reed built her first app, Kollecto, without writing a single line of code, and launched a startup school, Apps Without Code Bootcamp, in 2016 to help other non-technical entrepreneurs do the same.

The conference will be hosted on an interactive, online platform, with video presentations, Q&As, and discussions available in real time to attendees across the globe.
